Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Can be used for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces and surfaces already painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when spraying.Surface preparation:Before painting, the surface must be dry, free of grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded to remove the gloss.Surface priming:Steel surfaces exposed to atmospheric conditions must be primed with GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER, or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be primed with VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces exposed to atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colourless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air and the surface to be painted are at a temperature no lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun, or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with a relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
