<p>A mechanical filtration filter element made from layers of non-woven polypropylene fabric. It removes undissolved contaminants and suspensions from water, protecting water equipment or subsequent filtration stages from sand and silt. The filter element has standard dimensions, allowing it to be used in water filters from other manufacturers as well.</p><p>Polypropylene filter elements provide filtration at 5 microns – this level of precision allows for accurate filtration of water from mechanical impurities while maintaining a moderate pressure drop. It is also used in RO filters for final pre-filtration..</p><p>The filter element has a service life of up to 14,000 L or up to 6 months, with a maximum flow rate of 20 L/min. Height 10 inches, diameter 2.5 inches.</p>
