<p>Water softening filter element used in flow-through water purification systems and standard 5-inch in-line filter housings to reduce water hardness, which means a reduction of limescale deposits in the installation, fittings, and household appliances (including kettles).</p><p>The filter element has standard dimensions, allowing it to be used in water filters from other manufacturers as well. The filter element is installed primarily before individual water inlet points (e.g., in an under-sink filter of the FS2/FS3 type). Water hardness reduction through an ion exchange device (acid ion exchange layer) located inside the filter element occurs during water flow.</p><p>The filter element has a service life of up to 1000 l or up to 6 months, with a maximum efficiency of 4 l/min. Height 5 inches, diameter 2.5 inches.</p>
