Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces and surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying by brush or roller, thinning is usually not necessary. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying by roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when applying by spraying.Surface preparation:Before painting, the surface must be dry, free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint and dirt. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be treated with sandpaper until the gloss is removed.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with primers GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanized surfaces must be primed with primers VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with a colorless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1 – 2 coats, provided the ambient air and surface temperature is not lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Consumption per coat 8 – 12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC temperature with a relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
