Remove rust from rusted metal surfaces with a wire brush.</li><li>Apply a primer coat to plastic and polyester surfaces.</li><li>For best results, apply in thin coats. Three thin coats are always better than one thick coat, and they can be repainted within fifteen minutes with the same paint.</li><li>Turn the aerosol upside down to clean the valve after use.
