Deep Penetrating Primer CT17 10L High Absorption

<p>Ceresit deep penetrating primer CT 17 is a professional priming agent designed for strengthening and preparing mineral substrates before laying ceramic tiles, flooring, applying plaster or filler. This product significantly improves the adhesion capability of the substrate while reducing its absorbency, thus ensuring uniform and reliable application of subsequent layers. CT 17 is particularly useful in areas where there is a risk that adhesive or filler mortar may dry too quickly due to a weak or highly porous substrate.</p><p>The synthetic resin dispersion used in the CT 17 formula penetrates deep into the material structure, reinforcing the surface without increasing its overall mechanical strength. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use, including on plaster, concrete, monolithic floors and other absorbent base materials. The product is especially recommended for use on gypsum and aerated concrete surfaces, as well as chipboards and unimpregnated plasterboard sheets. The yellow colour allows visual control of application quality, which is practical for uneven substrates.</p><p>Before application, the substrate must be dry, load-bearing and free from dust, grease and other adhesion-reducing substances. For highly absorbent or weak substrates, CT 17 can be diluted with water in a 1 to 1 ratio. The product is applied with a brush in one or more coats using the wet-on-wet method.
