<p>PAROTEC® active - a two-layer, active vapour barrier consisting of a non-woven fabric layer and a film that actively retains water vapour. It also protects against the accumulation of excess water vapour between the plasterboard and the vapour barrier. At the same time, if necessary, moisture can enter the building (e.g. from a damp roof truss). This vapour barrier is used in the construction of residential and industrial buildings as a vapour barrier layer that protects attics against the penetration of excess moisture into the thermal insulation. Thanks to its variable Sd value, it allows moisture to be discharged both from the attic in the direction of the thermal insulation and, in the case of excess moisture in the insulation, to channel the excess moisture back to the attic. This intelligent solution used in the PAROTEC active vapour barrier prevents the harmful effects of fungi and mould on buildings.
