M-309L brand electrodes are designed for welding various types of steel (austenitic and carbon), austenitic stainless steel 08Х18Н10, 03Х18Н11, AISI 304, AISI 304L, etc. where the temperature does not exceed 300°C. Heat-resistant stainless steels AISI 309, AISI 309S and steels with similar chemical composition 20X23H13, 08X23H13. They are used for transition layer cladding on heat-resistant pearlitic class chromium-molybdenum steel and for cladding ferritic-pearlitic, low and medium alloy bases and applying buffer layers prior to surface cladding.
