<p>Iron sulfate (vitriol).</p><p>Used for chlorotic plants. Iron deficiency in plants causes chlorosis – chlorotic leaves are completely white or pale yellow. Plants stop growing. In alkaline soils, the iron needs of plants are met by spraying them with solutions of iron salts.</p><p>For lawns with moss. The lawn should be sprayed or watered with a 1 – 2% iron sulfate solution. (100 - 200 g / 10 l of water) Iron sulfate corrects soil acidity (pH) in the upper soil layer. Moss cannot grow if there are rapid pH changes and begins to die. The moss turns black, crumbly, and is removed with a rake. Afterwards, to reduce soil acidity, the lawn should be limed with approximately 600 g/m<sup>2</sup> of dolomite flour or chalk.</p>
