Fireclay Brick Š-5 230x114x65 Fire-Resistant
Fireclay bricks are the most fire-resistant of all refractory bricks. They are intended for use in areas with the most direct contact with open fire. These bricks are fired and contain quartz sand, crushed refractory clay, and fireclay powder. The composition and manufacturing technology of the bricks ensure that they withstand high temperatures, the effects of open flames, and sudden temperature changes. Fireclay bricks are suitable for the construction of fireboxes in stoves, fireplaces, hearths, etc., in zones of direct fire exposure. They also conduct heat well and quickly, while cooling down slowly. Fireclay bricks are suitable for heating appliances only. Fire resistance 1690°C, flow start temperature 1300°C, compressive strength 20 N/mm<sup>2</sup>.
