Gardener's Set Bordeaux 200g
The set consists of 100 g of copper sulfate and 100 g of slaked lime. To prepare a 1% solution, dissolve 100 g of copper sulfate and 100 g of slaked lime in 10 l of water. In a plastic container, dissolve the copper sulfate in the required amount of water, and in a second container, dissolve the slaked lime in the remaining amount of water. Mix both solutions together. Bordeaux mixture can be used to control and prevent diseases of fruit trees, berry bushes, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Bordeaux mixture is intended for use against powdery mildew, apple scab, cherry leaf spot, stone fruit dry spot disease, potato late blight, potato leaf dry spot disease, and for the prevention of tomato fruit brown rot. In early spring, before vegetation begins, spray fruit trees and berry bushes with a 1–3% Bordeaux mixture solution. During the growing season, use a 0.5–1.0% Bordeaux mixture solution. The prepared Bordeaux mixture should be used on the day it is made. Spraying with Bordeaux mixture should be done early in the morning or in the evening; do not spray in hot sunshine.
