Dowel LMX 8 x 175 mm with metal nail and cap is designed for fastening thermal insulation materials – polystyrene foam and mineral wool – to various base materials: concrete, solid and perforated bricks, aerated concrete, lightweight concrete and expanded clay concrete blocks. The metal nail with plastic coating reduces point thermal losses and provides additional protection against corrosion. The innovative body design with multiple adhesive pockets and protrusions on the pressed ring improves adhesive bonding. The short expansion zone ensures maximum fastening strength with minimal installation effort. The improved expansion zone design allows the dowel to be used in all base material categories while maintaining high strength parameters.
