<p>Fill&Finish Light is a lightweight filler consisting of calcium carbonate and vinyl binders. Special lightweight fillers are used in production to reduce the weight of the material.</p><p>Fill&Finish Light is an interior, air-drying, universal application joint compound. Suitable for filling joints in gypsum boards with AK edges, using paper joint tape or Kurt joint tape (Q1 AK), overcoating filled joints (Q2), as well as leveling entire surfaces (Q3-Q4). Large irregularities or substrate damage should be filled with a gypsum filler, such as Uniflott, Fugenfuller or Q Filler. Highly absorbent or unstable substrates should be primed with Tiefengrund deep primer. Gypsum board surfaces can only be filled if it is ensured that the board surfaces will not be affected by significant deformations as a result of temperature and humidity fluctuations. It is not necessary to prime gypsum board surfaces, but we recommend doing so with Tiefengrund deep primer.</p><p>Fill&Finish Light joint compound must be thoroughly stirred before use. If necessary, water may be added, but no more than 1 litre per 20 kg bucket. Water should be added in small amounts, stirring each time and checking that the material has the required consistency. Only clean tools and containers should be used. This filler can be applied by hand, with a painter's roller or with a PFT SWING AIRLESS airless sprayer or equivalent. The filler is intended for application up to 2 mm thickness. The next coat may be applied once the previous one has fully dried. Sanding is recommended with 180 - 240 grit sandpaper. Drying time depends on ambient conditions and coat thickness. A 2 mm coat thickness dries in approx. 24 hours, thin coats in approx. 3 - 4 hours. After sanding, the surface can be primed with Tiefengrund deep primer and the surface can then be painted with any standard paint. Room temperature must be at least +10°C during filler application and drying.</p>
