To achieve a uniform surface tone, mix the required amount of tinted lacquer from different containers into one vessel before application. For the first coat, dilute the lacquer with water by 20 - 30%. After the first coat has dried, sand the surface with fine sandpaper to remove raised wood fibers and remove sanding dust. Apply two coats with a brush or sprayer in the direction of the wood grain. The tone of the lacquered surface depends on the wood species, hardness, type, and number of tinted lacquer coats. To achieve a uniform tone, always cover the entire surface in one pass. Check the final tone of the tinted lacquer on a separate wood sample.</p>
