<p>A uniform and thick emulsion paint for ceilings and walls, creating a deeply matte and flawless surface finish. It applies easily and dries quickly, allowing you to achieve a professional-looking result without great effort. Can be tinted in light shades. Bindo 3 paint has a mild odour and very low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. The paint has also been awarded the Nordic "Nordic Swan" certificate, confirming compliance with strict environmental standards. The paint is intended for painting ceilings and walls in residential and public spaces (where high wear resistance requirements are not needed). Suitable for new and previously painted plaster, concrete and filled surfaces, as well as plasterboard surfaces.</p><u>Usage:</u><p>The base surface must be dry, clean, free of grease and dust. If necessary, the surface should be washed with lukewarm water, while for very dirty surfaces an appropriate cleaning agent should be used. After using a cleaning agent, the surface must be rinsed with clean water. Old peeling paint and poorly bonded surface layers must be removed down to a firm base. To improve adhesion, a surface previously painted with oil or alkyd paint should be sanded with sandpaper. Cracks and unevenness in the base surface should be filled with a suitable filler from the Sadolin product range. The surface should be sanded smooth and cleaned of dust.</p><p>Before use, the paint should be well stirred. Apply 2 coats of paint to the surface with a roller, brush or sprayer, allowing the surface to dry completely between coats. The previous coat of paint must be completely dry before applying the next coat. Large surfaces should be painted without interruption; interruptions are only permissible at corners. When painting, make sure there is always enough paint on the roller. The paint should be applied generously so that the painted surface retains moisture longer, as this will make it easier to even out. During painting, the air and surface temperature should be +10 to +25°C (recommended +18±2°C), relative air humidity 40 - 80% (recommended 65%). If the temperature is higher or lower than recommended, or if there is a draught, a poor-quality paint film may form.</p><p>The paint is ready to use and does not need to be thinned. Thinning the paint or applying it in a thinner coat than recommended may impair the product's properties.</p><p>Under normal conditions, the paint film fully hardens within 4 weeks after painting, so the surface must not be washed or cleaned until the specified time has elapsed. After 4 weeks, the surface becomes resistant to cleaning. A dirty painted surface should be cleaned with lukewarm, clean water; if necessary, a neutral (pH 6 - 7) cleaning agent may be used. Cleaning agents containing organic solvents (e.g. alcohol) are not suitable. Use a damp cloth or soft sponge to clean the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or hard brushes.
