Oil Radish Seeds 1kg for Green Manure
Oil radish (Raphanus sativus L. var. oleifera Metzg.) is an undemanding and fast-growing green manure plant that can also be used as a nectar plant. Oil radish prevents the spread of diseases and pests, as well as suppressing weeds and limiting their spread. This plant also improves soil fertility and increases yield. Oil radish is low-maintenance and grows in various soils (including peat soils). Due to its fast growth, it produces a green mass yield already 40 days after germination. The plant can be used as an intermediate crop with a sowing rate of 25–30 kg/ha. When sowing oil radish in spring and ploughing it in before flowering, the sowing rate can be reduced to 12 kg/ha. Oil radish begins to flower approximately 60 days after sowing.
