ENAMEL AQUA UNIVERSAL is a fast-drying universal water-dilutable enamel based on acrylate dispersion. Suitable for exterior and interior use. Forms a flexible coating, easy to apply, with good coverage and wash resistance. Previously painted surfaces must be sanded to a matte finish.Surface priming:Unpainted metal surfaces must be primed with NOVAKOR primer. The primer must be dried for no less than 24 hours (at 20 ºC). Wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions should be treated with the colourless TEKSTURDEKOR EC base. For porous mineral surfaces, use the deep-penetration primer FORAKRIL BASE.Preparing the enamel for use:Before use, the enamel must be thoroughly stirred. If necessary, thin with water to the optimal working viscosity (up to 10% by volume of water).Painting:Apply to dry surfaces with a brush, roller or sprayer in 1 - 2 coats, provided that the air and surface temperature is no lower than +5 ºС and the relative air humidity is no higher than 85 %. Drying time at +20 ºC with relative air humidity of 50 % — 1 hour to touch-dry, 4 hours to recoat, 1 day to achieve the required durability. Before applying the next coat on porous surfaces: 2 hours at 20 ºC, 3 hours at 10 ºC; on previously painted and pre-primed surfaces: 4 hours at 20 ºC, 6 hours at 10 ºC. Time before use to achieve the required durability: 24 hours at 20 ºC. Time to achieve maximum durability: 4 days (at 20 ºC).
