Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Can be used for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces, as well as surfaces already painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. During application and drying of the enamel, the ambient air temperature and the temperature of the surface being painted must not be lower than +5ºC, and the relative air humidity must not exceed 85%.Properties:<ul><li>Product is intended for indoor and outdoor use</li><li>Application by roller is permitted</li><li>Application by brush is permitted</li><li>Application by spray gun is permitted</li><li>Solvent can be used for thinning and cleaning tools</li><li>Dries in 24 h</li><li>Coverage 8 - 12 m²/l</li><li>Package volume 0.90 l</li><li>Colour black</li></ul>Paint preparation:Stir thoroughly before use. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when applying by spraying.Surface preparation:Before painting, the surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded until the gloss is removed.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with primers GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be primed with primers VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colourless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air temperature and the temperature of the surface being painted is not lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC and relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
