Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Can be applied to both new, previously unpainted surfaces, as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — when applying with a roller or brush up to 4% by volume, when applying by spraying up to 10% by volume.Surface preparation:The surface must be dry and free of grease (oil stains), peeling paint and dirt before painting. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be treated with sandpaper until the gloss is removed.Surface priming:Steel surfaces exposed to atmospheric conditions must be primed with primers GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanized surfaces must be primed with primers VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colorless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1 – 2 coats, provided that the ambient air and the surface being painted are at a temperature no lower than +5ºC and relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, sprayer or airless spray equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Consumption per coat 8 – 12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC temperature with relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
