Paint and Varnish Remover OPS Pro 0.75l
<p>Effective product for removing varnishes and paints for indoor and outdoor use. Does not contain methylene chloride or methylpyrrolidone. Thanks to its unique gel formula, it is ideally suited for treating vertical surfaces. The product is designed for softening and removing old varnish and paint surfaces from mineral, metal, and wood surfaces. Effectively promotes the removal of alkyd, oil and polyurethane paints, as well as water-soluble materials, including textured coatings and adhesives. Also used for removing graffiti from unpainted surfaces. In general, the product does not alter the colour of mineral or wood surfaces. On plastic surfaces (polystyrene, PVC, etc.) the product should be used with caution – always test its effect in inconspicuous areas. Do not use on aluminium surfaces.</p><p><u>Instructions for use:</u><br>Before use, cover surfaces that are not intended to be treated. Apply the product to surfaces with a brush, roller, or natural-bristle spatula in an even and as thick a layer as possible (0.5 – 2 mm). Leave it to act for 15 – 45 minutes until the coating swells and softens. The duration of the product's action depends on the type and thickness of the surface coating to be removed. In some cases, this may take several hours. Using a spatula, scraper, or metal scourer, remove the softened paint layer. A pressure washer may also be used. If necessary, apply a second coat of the product to the surface. Pre-existing mechanical surface damage (scratches) promotes faster and more effective action of the tool. Surface coatings should be removed from vertical surfaces by working from the bottom upwards. To enhance the softening effect, we recommend covering the treated surfaces with polyethylene film, especially in bright sunlight or wind. Thoroughly wash the cleaned surface with water and allow to dry. Do not use at temperatures below 0 °C. Wash tools with soap and water. With 1 litre of product, 0.5 – 3 m² can be treated in one coat, depending on the type of coating material being removed and the layer thickness.</p>
