Not suitable for surfaces painted with lime paints. Contains a silicone additive that repels water. Improved resistance to atmospheric effects. Must be tinted before use.</p><u>Technical Data:</u><ul><li>Recommended application - exterior use</li><li>Consumption 4 - 6 m²/l</li><li>Sheen - fully matte</li><li>Application method - brush, roller, airless sprayer</li><li>Application conditions - the surface must be clean and dry, air temperature above +5 °С, and relative air humidity below 80%, during painting avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight</li><li>Drying time (23°C, relative air humidity 50%) - touch dry after 0.5 h, recoatable after 12 h</li><li>Binder - styrene acrylate</li><li>Volume 9 l</li></ul><u>Surface Preparation:</u><p>Unpainted surfaces:<br>Clean the surface of dust, dirt, salts and other loosely bonded particles. New concrete surfaces can only be painted after the first heating season, i.e., after excess moisture has evaporated and the concrete has become thermally permeable. To improve adhesion and remove cement laitance, concrete surfaces that have become glossy after formwork removal should be treated with sandblasting or a steel brush before priming. Exterior mineral fiber board surfaces can be painted 1/2 year after their installation on exterior walls. New plastered surfaces can be painted 1 - 2 months after the surface has hardened.</p><p>Previously painted surfaces:<br>Remove loosely bonded particles and peeling paint from the surface using sandblasting or a steel brush. Open concrete cracks, remove rust from steel reinforcement and treat with anti-corrosion paint. All surface defects must be remedied in accordance with building material specifications. To level an uneven surface, use a cement mortar suitable in composition. For leveling plastered surfaces, use lime-cement mortar. Wash the surface with a detergent solution. To remove mold or algae, use a solution of water and Tikkurila Homeenpoisto, following the manufacturer's instructions.</p><u>Application:</u><p>Before painting, stir Hansa Facade paint thoroughly; for the first coat, dilute the paint with water by up to 10% by volume. To achieve a uniform surface tone, mix the required amount of tinted paint in one container before painting. Apply 1 or 2 coats with a roller, brush or sprayer. Plants and surfaces not intended to be painted (windows, metal surfaces, etc.) must be covered before painting.</p>
