Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Can be used for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when spraying.Surface preparation:The surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt before painting. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded until the gloss is removed.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Aluminium and galvanized surfaces must be primed with VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colorless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air and the surface to be painted are at a temperature no lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity is no greater than 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun, or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Consumption per coat 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
