<p>Water-dilutable alkyd enamel RADIATOR is intended for painting both new and previously painted cast iron, steel and aluminium radiators. Forms a light-resistant semi-matt coating designed for use on surfaces heated up to 100ºC. The enamel base A can be used as a white paint or for tinting in light shades.</p><u>Properties:</u><ul><li>Product intended for indoor use</li><li>Store at temperatures no lower than +5ºC</li><li>Water can be used for thinning and tool cleaning</li><li>Spray application is permitted</li><li>Brush application is permitted</li><li>Roller application is permitted</li><li>Drying time 6 h</li><li>Consumption 7-10 m²/l</li><li>Volume 0.45 l</li></ul><u>Usage:</u><p>When painting steel and cast iron surfaces, prior priming of the surface is required using one of the following primers: GF-021, NOVAKOR, NEOSPRINT PRIMER or RIATOP PRIMER. For priming aluminium surfaces, use NEOSPRINT PRIMER or VL-02. Before painting new surfaces, it is necessary to remove rust and all types of dirt. When finishing previously painted surfaces, ensure removal of peeling paint, rust residues and various contaminants. Before use, the enamel must be thoroughly mixed and, if necessary, thinned with water to working viscosity. Apply the enamel with a brush, roller or spray gun in 1-2 coats on clean and dry surfaces. The air temperature must not be lower than +10ºC, and the temperature of the radiator being painted must not exceed +50ºC. Relative air humidity must not exceed 85%. The drying time of the enamel at +20ºC is 6 hours. When applying 2 coats, the inter-coat drying time at +20ºC is no less than 10 hours. Enamel consumption depending on the smoothness of the surface and the thickness of the applied layer will be 7 – 10m²/l per coat. Use water to clean work tools. Store in a well-ventilated area in a tightly closed container at air temperatures between +5ºC and +30ºC.</p>
