Pine tar is used for wood impregnation, protection of wooden products (boats, piles, stakes, wooden roofs, etc.) and log structures against rot, decay and other biological fungal infections, and protection of wood surfaces against UV radiation and aging. Pine tar penetrates well into unplaned wood, giving the wood a dark brown and water-resistant surface. The product "Tar" contains 100% pine stump tar. Can be diluted with turpentine and linseed oil.
