Primer for Difficult Surfaces Super Grund 2.5L

Sadolin Super Grund is a professional primer for difficult-to-process and problematic surfaces indoors. It has been developed to ensure maximum adhesion between complex substrates and finishing paint, helping to achieve a flawless and long-lasting final coating. This primer is especially suitable in areas where ordinary wall and ceiling paints adhere poorly to the surface or result in an uneven application. Super Grund creates a highly adhesive layer on various hard-to-process surfaces, such as MDF and other fiberboards, tiles, unplasticized PVC, laminate, various wood, plaster, concrete, gypsum board, and filled substrates. It is an excellent choice for preparing furniture, doors, window sills, moldings, tiles as well as walls and ceilings before painting with latex paint. The primer is easily applied with a roller, brush, or sprayer and, thanks to its fast drying, allows finishing work to continue in a short time. After drying, the primed surface acquires a uniform texture and improved coverage, which is especially important when choosing bright finishing shades such as red, yellow, or orange. The primer helps reduce material consumption, improves paint durability, and provides an easier-to-maintain surface. A properly prepared substrate with Super Grund significantly extends the service life of the decorative coating on walls, ceilings, and furniture.
Technical data:

Application - indoors

Application method - roller, brush, or sprayer

Number of coats - 1 coat for priming

Thinning with water up to 10%

Dust-free after 2 h, next latex paint coat can be applied after 4 h, next acrylic and alkyd paint coat after 12 - 16 h

Working temperature +10 to +25 °C, recommended 18±2 °C

Recommended relative humidity 40 - 80%, recommended 65%

Consumption 5 - 8 m²/l, depending on surface absorption capacity

Packaging 2.5 l
