<p>Soudal Calofer sealant for stoves is a high-quality sodium silicate-based paste designed for sealing joints in areas with extremely high temperatures. Once cured, the sealant forms a rigid, heat-resistant bond that does not crack or crumble, providing long-lasting and reliable sealing in both domestic and professional heating systems. The product is ready to use and provides a stable structure in situations where constant resistance to heat up to +1500 °C is required. Calofer sealant is designed for use with stoves, fireplaces, flue pipes and central heating systems, as well as various structures subject to prolonged thermal stress. The sealant is asbestos-free, ensuring safe application for health, and is suitable for both new construction and repair work. Its black colour provides a visually uniform, high-quality joint suitable for various heating and metal elements. It adheres excellently to concrete, bricks and metals, and lightly moistening the surface before application significantly improves adhesion. The sealant can be applied either with a gun or a spatula, allowing it to be used in precise and narrow joints with a width of 5 to 15 mm. After application, it is recommended to gently heat the material to prevent the formation of bubbles and to achieve an optimal curing structure.
