<p>Soil for plants that require a slightly acidic growing medium (pH 5.6 - 6.5). Volume 3 l.</p><u>Usage:</u><ul><li>Repotting indoor plants</li><li>Growing summer flowers in balcony boxes, pots, and vases outdoors</li><li>Suitable for growing seedlings</li></ul><u>Composition:</u><ul><li>Peat – the main ingredient, neutralized with dolomite flour and mixed with mineral fertilizers.</li><li>Compost – Matogard OÜ Indoor Plant soil contains biotechnologically produced, nutrient-rich compost derived from horse manure. Provides plants with a suitable microbiological composition.</li><li>Sand – makes the soil structure looser and more water-permeable.</li><li>Clay – binds water and prevents the soil from drying out. </li></ul><u>Recommendations:</u><p>Plants can be repotted at any time, although spring is generally the most suitable time. Depending on the growth rate of the plant, the new pot should be slightly larger than the old one. When using clay pots, soak them briefly in water. Place a drainage layer at the bottom of the new pot (pot shards, gravel) to allow excess water to drain. Add a small amount of soil on top of the drainage layer, then place the plant at the required depth in the center of the pot along with the old root ball and add the new soil. After repotting, the plant needs to be thoroughly watered and protected from direct sunlight. </p><p>The compost used in the production of the soil binds nutrients and prevents them from leaching out with water from the soil. Normal plant growth and development without fertilization is ensured for at least 3 months, and for slower-growing indoor plants – 6 months.</p><u>Soil tests:</u><ul><li>Bulk density <0.7 kg/l</li><li>Acidity (pH KCl) 5.6 - 6.5</li><li>Total salt content 1.2 - 2.0 g/l</li></ul><u>Suitable for indoor plants:</u><p>Asparagus, philodendrons, fuchsias, helxines, callas, epipremnum, hoya, pelargonium, peperomias, hibiscus – Chinese rose, indoor palms, etc.</p>
