If necessary, thin with water to working viscosity. Clean the surfaces to be painted from dirt and dust. When applying over previously painted surfaces, a test coating on a small area is required to assess intercoat adhesion. In this case, light sanding of the surface to be painted with fine sandpaper is recommended to improve adhesion. Wood surfaces used in outdoor conditions must be primed with the colorless semi-transparent alkyd wood paint TEKSTURDEKOR or TEKSTURDEKOR BASE before applying AKVATOP. Apply the paint onto clean, dry surfaces in 1 - 2 coats using a brush, roller, or spray. During application and for twenty-four hours after application, the air and surface temperature must be no lower than +5°C, and the relative air humidity must be no higher than 85%.</p>
