<p>Ceresit deep-penetrating primer CT 17 is a professional priming agent designed for strengthening and preparing mineral substrates before ceramic tile adhesion, floor laying, plastering, or applying filler. This product significantly improves the adhesion capacity of the substrate while reducing its absorbency, thereby ensuring uniform and secure application of subsequent layers. CT 17 is particularly useful in areas where there is a risk of adhesive or filler mortar drying too quickly due to a weak or highly porous substrate.</p><p>The synthetic resin dispersion used in the CT 17 formula penetrates deep into the material structure, reinforcing the surface without increasing its overall mechanical strength. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use, including on plaster, concrete, monolithic floors, and other absorbent base materials. The product is especially recommended for use on gypsum and aerated concrete surfaces, as well as chipboards and unimpregnated gypsum plasterboards. The yellow color allows visual control of application quality, which is practical for uneven substrates.</p><p>Before application, the substrate must be dry, load-bearing, and free from dust, grease, and other substances that reduce adhesion. For highly absorbent or weak substrates, CT 17 can be diluted with water in a 1 to 1 ratio. The product is applied with a brush in one or more coats using the wet-on-wet method.
