EasyCare Wall Paint 2.5L Matte

<p>Matte wall paint with excellent washability for interior use (Class 1 resistance to wet scrubbing (ISO 11998)). The product contains wax, which makes the painted surface resistant to liquids and dirt. Due to the special hydrophobic coating of EasyCare paint, liquids such as soft drinks and juices that land on the surface do not absorb into the substrate but remain on the surface in droplet form. The small contact area between the droplet and the base surface reduces the risk of contamination and greatly simplifies surface cleaning. EasyCare paint does not splatter, is easy to apply to the surface and spread evenly, resulting in a smooth finish. The product is virtually odourless and can be tinted in a wide range of shades. The high abrasion resistance of the acrylic paint ensures a long-lasting, easy-to-maintain surface.</p><u>Application:</u><p>Before use, the product must be thoroughly stirred. Apply 2 coats of paint to the surface with a roller or brush, allowing the surface to dry in accordance with the recoating interval requirements. The paint is ready to use and does not require thinning. Thinning the paint or applying it in a thinner coat than required may impair the hydrophobic and dirt-repellent properties of the surface. Large surfaces must be painted without interruption; breaks are only permitted at corners. When determining the required amount of paint, refer to the consumption rate indicated on the label.</p><p>When painting walls, apply the paint first in a horizontal direction, then level the surface by moving the roller up and down. Each subsequent roller stroke in the paint strip must be completed across the full height of the wall in one direction.</p><p>When painting ceilings, work in the direction of the incoming light, i.e., the levelling strokes should be made in the direction away from the window.</p><p>Under standard conditions, the paint achieves its initial water-repellent (hydrophobic) protection within 1–2 weeks after painting, so it is recommended to avoid intensive cleaning of the painted surface before the specified time has elapsed. If the painted surface needs to be cleaned sooner, this should be done very carefully using a damp cloth. Lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth or washing cloth may be used to clean dirty painted surfaces.
