Extruded Polystyrene 100x585x1235mm FL300PX Half-Lap Edge

Finnfoam extruded polystyrene is a high-quality thermal insulation material with excellent bonding properties, thanks to its waffle-like grooved surface. The boards provide a stable and secure base for subsequent work and are particularly suitable for locations where effective heat retention and high mechanical strength are required. This material is designed for professional use, but its practical properties also make it suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

The grooved structure significantly improves adhesion with glue and plaster, which is especially important when insulating plinths, reveals, walls, and other rendered structures. The closed-cell structure of the extruded polystyrene ensures minimal water absorption and preserves the material's properties even in the case of prolonged moisture or freezing. This allows Finnfoam boards to maintain a stable shape, thermal conductivity values, and resistance to compressive loads over the long term.

The material is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and 100% recyclable, making it a sustainable choice for both new builds and renovation projects. The boards are lightweight, easy to cut with standard tools, and simple to install, which significantly speeds up the work process. As they do not absorb water, storage is convenient and the boards retain their quality even outdoors, as long as they are protected from direct UV rays over extended periods.
Technical data:

Size 100 x 585 x 1235 mm

Declared thermal conductivity coefficient λD 0.031 - 0.037 W/mK

Compressive strength ≥300 kPa

Water absorption by immersion ≤0.2 %

Edge profile half-lap
