<p>Fill&Finish Light is a lightweight filler consisting of calcium carbonate and vinyl binders. Special lightweight fillers are used in production to reduce the weight of the material.</p><p>Fill&Finish Light is an interior, air-drying, universal application joint compound. Suitable for taping joints in gypsum boards with AK edges using paper tape or Kurt joint tape (Q1 AK), for re-filling filled joints (Q2), as well as for levelling entire surfaces (Q3-Q4). Large unevennesses or substrate damage should be filled with a gypsum filler, such as Uniflott, Fugenfuller or Q Filler. Highly absorbent or unstable substrates should be primed with deep primer Tiefengrund. Gypsum board surfaces may only be filled if it is ensured that the board surfaces will not be affected by significant deformation as a result of temperature and humidity fluctuations. It is not necessary to prime gypsum board surfaces, but we recommend doing so with deep primer Tiefengrund.</p><p>Fill&Finish Light joint compound must be thoroughly stirred before use. If necessary, water may be added, but no more than 1 litre per 20 kg bucket. Water should be added in small amounts, stirring each time to ensure the material is at the required consistency. Only clean tools and containers should be used. This joint compound can be applied by hand, with a paint roller, or with an airless spray unit PFT SWING AIRLESS or equivalent. The filler is intended for thicknesses up to 2 mm. The next coat may be applied once the previous one has fully dried. Sanding with 180 - 240 grit sandpaper is recommended. Drying time depends on ambient conditions and layer thickness. A 2 mm layer dries in approx. 24 hours, thin layers in approx. 3 - 4 hours. After sanding, the surface can be primed with deep primer Tiefengrund and such a surface can be painted with any standard paint. During application and drying of the filler, room temperature must be at least +10°C.</p>
