<p>Knauf Insulation Expert 036 mineral wool boards are a high-quality insulation material with enhanced thermal and acoustic insulation properties. This product is manufactured using Ecose technology, which contains no formaldehyde or dyes, making Expert 036 safe for a healthy indoor environment and suitable for sustainable construction projects, including BREEAM and LEED certified buildings. Expert 036 boards are designed for effective thermal insulation, sound insulation and fire protection solutions. The material is rigid, lightweight, non-crumbling, with durable edges. The boards are hydrophobized, making the fibre resistant to direct water exposure. The product has a low dust level, is odour-free, easy to cut and retains its shape very well even during long-term use. Expert 036 is suitable for ventilated facades, internal partition walls, frame walls, pitched roofs, ceilings and suspended ceiling systems. Can be installed both vertically and horizontally. After installation in the structure, the board should be compressed by 2–3 percent (the wool dimension should be 1 cm larger than the gap in the structure). The product features good vapour permeability, which helps prevent moisture accumulation in building structures. Fire class A1 provides maximum safety, while the thermal conductivity coefficient λD 0.036 W/mK guarantees high energy efficiency. The manufacturing plant is certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Expert 036 carries CE marking and complies with the main construction standards.
