Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is suitable for outdoor and indoor use. Can be used for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — when applying with a roller or brush up to 4% by volume, when applying by spraying up to 10% by volume.Surface preparation:The surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint and dirt before painting. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded until the gloss is removed.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with primers GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be primed with primers VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with colourless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1 – 2 coats, provided the ambient air temperature and the temperature of the surface to be painted is not lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity is not greater than 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat 8 – 12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC temperature with relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
