Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is generally not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when spraying.Surface preparation:Before painting, the surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded to remove the gloss.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER, or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Aluminum and galvanized surfaces must be primed with VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colorless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air temperature and the temperature of the surface to be painted are not lower than +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, sprayer, or airless spray equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Consumption per coat 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with a relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
