Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. During application and drying of the enamel, the ambient air and the surface to be painted must be at a temperature no lower than +5ºC, and relative air humidity must not exceed 85%.Properties:<ul><li>Product intended for indoor and outdoor use</li><li>Application by roller is permitted</li><li>Application by brush is permitted</li><li>Application by spray is permitted</li><li>Solvent can be used for thinning and cleaning tools</li><li>Drying time 24 h</li><li>Coverage 8 - 12 m²/l</li><li>Package volume 0.90 l</li><li>Color red-brown</li></ul>Paint preparation:Stir thoroughly before use. Thinning is usually not required when applying with a brush or roller. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when applying by spraying.Surface preparation:The surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt before painting. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded to remove the gloss.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be primed with GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER, or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Aluminium and galvanized surfaces must be primed with VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colorless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air and surface temperature is not below +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun, or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat is 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with a relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
