<p>Primer GF-021 is designed for priming steel surfaces used outdoors before painting with alkyd and urethane-alkyd enamels Pentaprim, Pentatop Universal, Pentalux T, Neosprint 30 or RIALKID, in order to protect them from corrosion.</p><u>Properties:</u><ul><li>Product suitable for indoor and outdoor use</li><li>Application by roller is permitted</li><li>Application by brush is permitted</li><li>Application by spray gun is permitted</li><li>Solvent can be used for thinning and tool cleaning</li><li>Dries in 5 h</li><li>Consumption 10 - 12.5 m²/l (dry film thickness per coat 40 - 50 μm)</li><li>Colour red-brown</li><li>Volume 0.45 l</li></ul><u>Application:</u><p>Before use, stir the primer thoroughly. If necessary, thin to working viscosity with xylene, solvent, SOLVEKS or SOLVEKS SPRINT thinners, using the following thinner volumes: 0 - 5% when applying by roller or brush. Application of the primer by spraying is permitted only in painting sections of industrial plants and workshops. Before applying the primer, the surface to be painted must be cleaned of dirt, corrosion products (rust) and degreased. During painting, the temperature of the air and the surface to be painted must not be below +5ºC. Relative air humidity must not exceed 85%. Apply the primer in 1 - 2 coats onto a clean dry surface using a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (with nozzle diameter 0.011″-0.017″). Consumption per coat with a dry film thickness of 40 - 50 μm (excluding losses during application) 10 - 12.5 m²/l. Drying time at (20±2)°C no longer than 5 hours; the curing time "before recoating with the next coat of primer or enamel" no less than 6 hours.</p>
