Rust Converter Buvanols 0.5L
Rust converter for treating the surfaces of rusted metal products before priming and painting. The effect is efficient if the rust thickness does not exceed 100 microns. Remove the loose rust layer mechanically. Clean oily surfaces with white spirit or petrol. Apply the mixed rust modifier to the cleaned surface. The effect is indicated by the appearance of a blue-violet to grey-brown hue. It is recommended to moisten the surface with water after 2–3 hours. If the temperature is above 25°C, water is mandatory. The surface may be painted after 24 hours. It is advisable to prime the surface before painting. Alkyd-based primers are recommended. Do not use the modifier below 0°C. Consumption 100–170 g/m<sup>2</sup>. Composition – Aqua, orthophosphoric acid, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, tannic acid, methenamine, sodium hexametaphosphate. Volume 0.5 l.
