The nozzle should be cut at a 45° angle to create an opening sufficient for dispensing. Insert the cartridge with the applicator into the gun and fill the applicator with silicone by pressing the gun trigger (lever) several times. Apply the silicone to the joint by repeatedly and evenly pressing the gun trigger and smoothly drawing the applicator along the joint. After applying the silicone, smooth it with a rubber spatula. Remove excess silicone.</p><u>Recommendations:</u><ul><li>Surfaces must be clean and free of grease, oil, dust and dirt that may affect adhesion</li><li>Non-porous surfaces (e.g. aluminium, glass, etc.) should be cleaned with a suitable solvent</li><li>Porous substrates (e.g. concrete, brickwork, etc.) should be mechanically cleaned to remove any dirt</li><li>The surface to be coated must be dry</li><li>All joints must have adequate ventilation</li><li>During curing, ensure that no contaminants can settle on the surface and that mechanical loads do not affect the joint surface</li><li>Do not use at temperatures below +5°C</li><li>Do not use as a glazing sealant, on bituminous surfaces, or with building materials that may release oils, plasticizers or solvents (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, chloroprene, EPDM or flexible PVC)</li><li>Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), PTFE (Teflon®), neoprene and bitumen</li><li>Due to the wide range of possible substrates, we recommend performing a prior compatibility test</li></ul>
