<p>MAKROFLEX All Weather is a universal, weather-resistant joint sealant based on polymers, solvent-free, suitable for indoor and outdoor use throughout the year. Suitable for sealing facade expansion joints, roofing, wall and floor joints. Can also be used to fill joints and connections that require weather protection. MAKROFLEX All Weather adheres very well to most building materials, such as roofing, cornices, thresholds, metal, aluminium and plastic drainpipes, steel (galvanised, stainless, enamelled), brick, concrete, wood, etc.</p><u>Properties:</u><ul><li>Very good resistance to UV rays, weather conditions and ageing</li><li>Surface does not crack</li><li>Excellent adhesion to various building materials even without priming</li><li>Paintable</li><li>Easy to apply with a gun even at low temperatures</li><li>Very flexible, resistant to impact and vibration</li><li>Cured surface is non-tacky</li><li>Suitable for use on damp surfaces</li><li>Suitable application temperature is from +5 °C to +40 °C</li></ul><u>Application:</u><p>Cut off the top of the threaded part of the cartridge. Then cut the applicator nozzle at approximately 45° angle, according to the width of the joint. Screw the applicator nozzle onto the threaded end. Insert the cartridge into a silicone gun and fill the nozzle with sealant by repeatedly pressing the gun trigger. Insert a backer rod into the joint. Apply the sealant into the joint by pressing the gun trigger evenly and moving the nozzle steadily along the joint line. Make sure the sealant completely fills the joint with no voids remaining. Remove excess sealant with the Makroflex Silikon Tool instrument or any other silicone tool of your choice. If the edges of the joint were covered with masking tape, remove it. For best results, spray the joint with a light detergent solution (soapy water) and smooth it again with a silicone tool.</p><p>During application and curing of the sealant, ensure adequate ventilation and humidity in the room. During curing, avoid contamination of the surface and ensure the joint surface is not subjected to mechanical stress. The curing rate depends on temperature, air humidity and joint dimensions.</p><p>Tools and equipment can be cleaned immediately after use with white spirit, while cured material can only be removed mechanically (e.g. with a carpet knife).</p>
