<p>Kattefix is a high-quality, moisture-resistant and thixotropic acrylic adhesive designed for bonding various floor and wall coverings in both dry and wet rooms. This universal adhesive provides a secure bond with a wide range of materials, including linoleum, PVC, vinyl, cork, polystyrene foam and textile coverings. Thanks to its water-resistant formula, Kattefix is ideally suited for use in indoor spaces where moisture exposure is possible, such as kitchens, hallways or bathrooms.</p> <p>The adhesive is distinguished by its excellent thixotropy — it does not flow and maintains a consistent texture, allowing precise application on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Kattefix is suitable for use on porous and non-porous substrates, such as concrete, plywood, chipboard and fibreboard. When applied correctly, the adhesive provides a strong, flexible and long-lasting bond between materials. Its beige-white colour is practical, as it does not show through the covering material.</p> <p>During application, the adhesive should be spread using a notched trowel or roller, depending on the surface and material. On porous surfaces, coverage should be completed within 10 minutes, while on dense surfaces it is recommended to allow the adhesive layer to partially dry for 15–30 minutes to achieve maximum bonding. After use, tools can be easily cleaned with warm water and soap.
