Versakril Lacquer 0.9L EC Water-Based for Wood Surfaces
<p>A water-dilutable acrylic lacquer designed for lacquering wood surfaces used both indoors and outdoors. Can be used for coating wooden windows, garden furniture and other products. Forms a semi-matte, semi-transparent film with high resistance to blocking on coated surfaces. The UV filter included in the composition provides long-term protection of the wood surface and the coating itself against ultraviolet solar radiation.</p><u>Properties:</u><ul><li>Product intended for indoor and outdoor use</li><li>Application by roller is permitted</li><li>Application by brush is permitted</li><li>Application by spray is permitted</li><li>Product can be tinted</li><li>Water is used for thinning and cleaning tools</li><li>Dries in 3 h</li><li>Store above 5 ºC</li><li>Consumption 6 - 7 m²/l</li></ul><u>Usage:</u><p>VERSAKRIL may only be applied to clean, dry and dust-free wood surfaces. Wood surfaces used outdoors must be pre-primed with one coat of clear or tinted paint TEKSTURDEKORS AKVASATINS. VERSAKRIL can be applied over TEKSTURDEKORS AKVASATIN only after the final complete drying. For wood surfaces used indoors, prior priming is not required. Before use, VERSAKRIL must be thoroughly stirred. If necessary, thinning to working viscosity with water is permitted (up to 10 – 20% when applying by spray; 0 – 5% when applying by brush). The temperature of the air and the surface to be lacquered must not be lower than +10ºC. The relative humidity of the air must not exceed 70%. VERSAKRIL is applied with a brush or spray in 2 coats. Application should be carried out evenly, avoiding local accumulation of lacquer and the formation of thicker layers. Consumption 6 - 7 m²/l per coat. Inter-coat drying time not less than 1 hour at (20 ± 2)ºC or not less than 3 hours at (10 ± 2)ºC. Drying time at (20 ± 2)ºC: tack-free in 45 minutes; full cure (until the product is ready for further processing) 3 hours. Water is also used for cleaning working tools. Dried VERSAKRIL residues can be removed with the help of acetone or solvent 646. Store in a tightly sealed container at a temperature not lower than +5ºC.</p>
