<p>A uniform and thick emulsion paint for painting frequently washed walls. With its durable, semi-matt finish, the paint delivers long-lasting results and keeps walls looking fresh for longer. The paint applies easily and dries quickly. The painted surface is resistant to washing. Bindo 20 has a mild odour and a very low VOC (volatile organic compound) content. The paint has been awarded the Nordic Ecolabel "Nordic Swan", certifying compliance with strict environmental standards. The paint is intended for painting frequently washed walls in living rooms and public spaces, such as kitchens, hallways, stairwells, offices and public areas (schools, kindergartens, shops, hotels, restaurants). If necessary, wash the surface with lukewarm water; for very dirty surfaces, use a suitable detergent. After using a detergent, rinse the surface with clean water. Old peeling paint and poorly adhering layers must be removed down to a firm base. To improve adhesion, surfaces previously painted with oil or alkyd paint should be sanded with sandpaper. Cracks and unevenness in the substrate should be filled with a suitable filler from the Sadolin product range. The surface should be sanded smooth and cleaned of dust.</p><p>Before use, stir the paint thoroughly. Apply 2 coats of paint to the surface using a roller, brush or sprayer, allowing the surface to dry completely between coats. The previous coat must be fully dry before applying the next coat. Large surfaces should be painted without interruption; breaks are only permissible at corners.</p><p>When painting, ensure that the roller always carries a sufficient amount of paint. Apply the paint generously so that the painted surface retains moisture for longer, making it easier to even out. During painting, the air and surface temperature must be between +10 and +25°C (recommended +18±2°C), with a relative air humidity of 40 - 80% (recommended 65%). If the temperature is higher or lower than recommended, or if there is a draught, a poor-quality paint film may form.</p><p>The paint is ready to use and does not need to be thinned. Thinning the paint or applying it in a thinner coat than recommended may reduce the product's properties.</p><p>Under normal conditions, the paint film fully hardens within 4 weeks after painting, so the surface must not be washed or cleaned until this time has elapsed. After 4 weeks, the surface becomes resistant to cleaning. Clean a dirty painted surface with lukewarm, clean water; if necessary, a neutral (pH 6 - 7) cleaning agent may be used. Cleaning agents containing organic solvents (e.g. alcohol) are not suitable. Use a damp cloth or soft sponge to clean the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or hard brushes. After using a detergent, rinse the surface with clean water.</p>
