It can use various types of acidic, basic and cellulose electrodes. The high-performance inverter provides a durable electric arc. The power source is made from a high-performance IGBT rectifier (a newer continuation of MOSFET technology), ensuring low device weight and high reliability. The KD1871 welder uses advanced PWM welding technology. PWM technology allows generating powerful electrical energy used for welding and cutting. Very small external dimensions and low weight of approximately 3.5 kg, unprecedented in this class of devices. This allows the welder to work freely in any conditions and in any position. Thanks to the ability to be powered from the electrical grid or a power generator, MMA 300A IGBT devices are ideally suited for field work, even with long power cables.
