To achieve faster immediate bonding, the surface with the applied adhesive should be allowed to dry until the adhesive becomes darker and a tacky film forms on it. The surfaces can then be joined. Vapour barrier membranes can be joined to one another. To do this, contact bonding must be used — press the surfaces to be joined together and then separate them. The surfaces can be rejoined once the adhesive has become darker and a dry film has formed. Leave sufficient distance to the vapour barrier membrane to prevent load caused by potential deformation, which may cause the membrane or bonded seam to tear. In the case of mineral wool boards, a bonding surface can be created by applying a thin, even film layer onto the board. Once the adhesive becomes darker, tape, vapour barrier membranes and similar materials will adhere to it effectively. The final curing of the adhesive takes longer, and this bonding solution assumes that the adhesive joint is not subjected to (additional) load.Recommendations:<ul><li>Application temperature from +5°C to +40°C.</li><li>The surface must be dry, free from dust, grease and dirt.</li><li>Membrane adhesive is not suitable for bonding load-bearing elements.
