EasyCare Wall Paint 10L Matte

<p>Matte wall paint with excellent washability for interior use (Class 1 resistance to wet scrubbing (ISO 11998)). The product contains wax that makes the painted surface resistant to liquids and dirt. Due to the special hydrophobic coating of EasyCare paint, liquids such as soft drinks and juices that land on the surface do not absorb into the base but remain on the surface in the form of droplets. The small contact area between the droplet and the base surface reduces the risk of contamination and greatly simplifies surface cleaning. EasyCare paint does not splatter, is easy to apply to surfaces and spread evenly, resulting in a smooth finish. The product is virtually odour-free and can be tinted in a wide range of shades. The high abrasion resistance of the acrylic paint ensures a long-lasting, easy-to-maintain surface.</p><u>Application:</u><p>Before use, the product must be thoroughly mixed. Apply 2 coats of paint to the surface with a roller or brush, allowing the surface to dry in accordance with the requirements for the interval between coats. The paint is ready to use and does not need to be diluted. Diluting the paint or applying it in a thinner coat than required may reduce the hydrophobic and dirt-repellent properties of the surface. Large surfaces should be painted without interruption; breaks are only permissible at corners. When determining the required amount of paint, the consumption rate given on the label should be taken into account.</p><p>When painting walls, apply the paint to the surface first in a horizontal direction, then level the surface by moving the roller up and down. Each subsequent roller stroke in the paint strip should be carried out across the full height of the wall in one direction.</p><p>When painting ceilings, work in the direction of the light source, i.e., the levelling strokes should be made in the direction away from the window.</p><p>Under standard conditions, the paint achieves its initial water-repellent (hydrophobic) protection within 1–2 weeks after painting, so it is advisable to avoid intensive cleaning of the painted surface before this time has elapsed. If the painted surface needs to be cleaned sooner, this should be done very carefully using a damp cloth. Lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth or a washing cloth may be used to clean dirty painted surfaces.
