Pest catching belt for fruit trees. To control codling moth larvae (apple worms), apple blossom weevil (flower borer) and plum moth larvae — at the beginning of July, wrap the catching belt in a single layer around the apple tree trunk just below the branching point (for plum trees 10–20 cm from the ground) and tie with string. On older apple trees, also place belts on thicker branches at their base. In late autumn (end of October – November), remove the belts and destroy the overwintering pests, if this has not already been done by beneficial insectivorous birds — tits and others. The effect of the belts will show during the next harvest!
