When applying over previously painted surfaces, a test coat over a small area is required to assess inter-coat adhesion. In this case, light sanding of the surface to be painted with fine sandpaper is recommended to improve adhesion. Wooden surfaces used outdoors must be primed with the colorless semi-transparent alkyd wood paint TEKSTURDEKOR or TEKSTURDEKOR BASE before applying AKVATOP. Apply the paint onto clean, dry surfaces in 1–2 coats using a brush, roller, or spray gun. During application, as well as for twenty-four hours after application, the air and surface temperature must be no lower than +5°C, and the relative air humidity must be no higher than 85%.</p>
