<p>Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is suitable for outdoor and indoor use. Can be used for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for both new, previously unpainted surfaces and surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. During application and drying of the enamel, the ambient air and the surface to be painted must not be below +5ºC, and the relative air humidity must not exceed 85%.</p><u>Properties:</u><ul><li>Product intended for indoor and outdoor use</li><li>Application by roller is permitted</li><li>Application by brush is permitted</li><li>Application by sprayer is permitted</li><li>Solvent can be used for thinning and tool cleaning</li><li>Drying time 24 h</li><li>Coverage 8 - 12 m²/l</li><li>Package volume 0.45 l</li><li>Colour light grey</li></ul><u>Paint preparation:</u><p>Stir thoroughly before use. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — up to 4% by volume when applying with a roller or brush, up to 10% by volume when spraying.</p><u>Surface preparation:</u><p>The surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint and dirt before painting. Previously painted glossy surfaces must be sanded until the gloss is removed.</p><u>Surface priming:</u><p>Steel surfaces exposed to atmospheric conditions must be primed with GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces must be primed with VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER primers. Previously unpainted wood surfaces exposed to atmospheric conditions must be treated with the colourless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.</p><u>Painting:</u><p>Apply the enamel in 1–2 coats, provided the ambient air and surface temperature is not below +5ºC and the relative air humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, sprayer or airless spray equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat 8–12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with a relative air humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.</p>
