Universal glossy easy-to-apply alkyd enamel. PENTAPRIM enamel is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Suitable for painting wood and primed metal surfaces. Applicable for finishing both new, previously unpainted surfaces as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd and uralkyd enamels. When applying with a brush or roller, thinning is usually not required. If necessary, thin to optimal working viscosity with white spirit or VAITSOL solvent — when applying with a roller or brush up to 4% by volume, when applying by spraying up to 10% by volume.Surface preparation:Before painting, the surface must be dry and free from grease (oil stains), peeling paint, and dirt. Previously painted glossy surfaces should be sanded to remove the gloss.Surface priming:Steel surfaces used in atmospheric conditions should be primed with primers GF-021, NOVAKOR, RIATOP PRIMER or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Aluminium and galvanised surfaces should be primed with primers VL-02 or NEOSPRINT PRIMER. Previously unpainted wood surfaces used in atmospheric conditions should be treated with the colourless wood protection product TEKSTURDEKOR EC base or with the wood structure impregnation agent WOOD PROTECT GREEN, WOOD PROTECT BROWN.Painting:Apply the enamel in 1 – 2 coats, provided the ambient air and surface temperature is not below +5ºC and relative humidity does not exceed 85%. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun or airless spraying equipment (nozzle diameter 0.011" – 0.017"). During hot drying, the temperature must not exceed +80ºC. Coverage per coat 8 – 12 m²/l. Drying time at +20ºC with relative humidity of 50% is no more than 24 hours.
